Description of 1969 Porsche 911

European Collectibles has been in business since 1986. We are known worldwide for offering high quality sports cars. This beautiful 1969 Porsche 911T was completed on November 21. 1968 and shipped to the USA with a lengthy options list that included the following: 5 Speed Transmission. US Equipment. Light Metal Wheels (5 1/2 x 14) with 185 HT 14 Tires. Leather Steering Wheel. Bumperettes (Front/Rear). Roof Ski Rack w/ 8 Leather Straps. Antenna - Left. Engine Noise Suppression. Loudspeaker in Dashboard. Blaupunkt Radio and Michelin Tires. The original color was Tangerine with a Black Leatherette Interior. The car was sold by the original owner to the second owner in 1989. The new owner enjoyed the car for a short time then let it sit for a few years. In 1996 he decided to restore the car and give it to his 16-year old son. The original Tangerine paint was stripped and the car was painted red. The engine was removed and completely rebuilt by German Auto Tech in Pomona. Once the car was ready. the owner decided his son was not ready to own a red 911. The Porsche went in the garage and stayed there untouched until we purchased the car earlier this year. After buying the car. we rebuilt the carburetors. installed a new clutch. new brakes and brake lines. two new Interstate batteries. new spark plugs. new air filter. new alternator and new Yokohama tires. The wheel bearings were re-packed. the heat exchangers and exhaust were replaced. the valves were adjusted. the engine oil and filter were changed. the suspension was rebuilt and aligned. After all of the mechanical work and numerous drives for testing and sorting. we went through the cosmetic presentation. This involved installing new carpets. new door panels. new seat covers and rebuilt the seat padding. installed new trunk carpeting. and quite a bit of rubber window and bumper trim. This matching numbers Porsche 911 is fully sorted and ready for road use. It is complete with a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche and receipts for the above-mentioned work. The full engine rebuild. which is documented and cost in excess of $7. 00 was done less than 500 miles ago. The undercarriage and all suspension attachment points are solid and without patches or rust. We have pictures and will be happy to email them on request.
