Description of 1972 Porsche 911 E Targa

1972 Porsche 911-E Targa. In 1992 this was a running and driving car. that year it was taken to a small shop to have the MFI system removed and carbs installed. The shop removed the injection stacks and placed them in a box in the trunk. It then sat for another year untouched. eventually the shop pushed the car outside where it sat for another year or so. The shop then closed and the owner had it towed back to his house and placed it under a carport. It sat there for the next 20 years until I bought it. Once I received the car I sent for the COA from Porsche which revealed quite a few interesting options. including "Equipment for Saudi Arabia" and "Electric Heater". The gas heater is still in the car (see pics). The motor is not the original. It is a 1971 911-E engine with the vin #6210703. The engine is stuck from what I believe is moisture from sitting outside. The original motor is long gone. The car has a few rusty spots by the batteries but the floor pan looks good from what i can see. It has been repainted once but the original yellow color was used. This Porsche is a project and does not run or drive. Car is sold with a bill of sale and current Washington State registration. There is no title with this vehicle. but it has been inspected by the Washington State Patrol and has never been stolen and has no issues on the history.
