1966 Renault 8 Gordini R1134, U.S. Model.

For Sale is a 1966 Renault 8 Gordini R1134, VIN # R11340501655, U.S. Model. The car has had three owners since new, and has undergone a through mechanical restoration recently. Car is very solid, with only minimal surface rust on the undercarriage, and has not been abused like most 1134 Gordinis were. For some unknown reason the car has an original speedometer in kilometers, and currently reads 44911 on the odometer. Could be correct, but not confirmed.

Recent Restoraton work includes:

Engine rebuilt...new pistons, liners, gaskets

New Koni shocks in rear (two each side)

New Twin 40 DCOE Webers

Electric fuel pump

Rebuilt power brake booster

New brake rotors and calipers

New brake lines

Wiring updates and repaired under dash.

Gas tank cleaned and sealed.

Linkage needs to be adjusted, difficult to put into reverse
