Description of 1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

What can I say about such a great car? The Corvette ZR-1 was built with one thing in mind. SPEED! Setting a new 24 hour endurance record of an average speed of 175 mph in 1990 and take the long held title away from Mercedes-Benz. The LT-5. 4 cam. 32 valve. 375hp V-8 is a beast with a top speed pushing 200 mph! Much has been written about it's legendary performance. a quick Google search will fill your mind with the capabilities of a Corvette ZR-1. My 75 year old father has owned this car since new. It has spent it's entire life well cared for and protected from the elements in an insulated warehouse in Hollister. California. With 31. 45 miles since new (that's an average of under 1. 00 per year!) it is rare find of such an incredible car. The car has only been used as a toy for weekend events. It has never been tracked or abused. don't get me wrong it has seen the back side of 170 mph a time or two in it's life but for the most part it's been a top off. sunny day. cruiser. It is factory original. with no aftermarket modifications of any kind however the rims were updated to OEM 1995 ZR1 wheels. (We do not have the 1991 takes offs any longer) Red with Black leather and a 6-speed manual transmission. she is still a head turner at 24 years old! It has all options available including a second dark glass roof panel that has never been used. It will also come with the "box set" of detailed information each new ZR-1 was delivered with new (by VIN number). I also have the original manufacturers window sticker. never installed and in flawless condition. detailing all of the options on the car. The car is accident free and has a clean clear title. This car is truly in "Excellent / Pristine" condition for a 24 year old car. The leather seats. carpets. steering wheel. shift knob show next to no wear. very. VERY clean! It has never been smoked in or had food or drinks of any sort in it. The paint is nearly perfect. with one tiny stone chip on the D/S headlight cover. so small it’s hard to find even when you are looking for it. To our knowledge everything works on the car. (All of the silly stuff that is often not working after 24 years: Radio. CD. cassette. power antenna. windows. power seats. are all working great) The front windshield has slight fogging on the edge. common for ZR1's. You cannot see the fogging from inside the car. however it is there if you really look. The tires are in good shape. however they are at least 14 years old so I would suggest replacing them due to age. At 75 years old getting in and out of this car is getting to be a bit tough on the body! The car is spending way too much time covered in our warehouse. it is time for it to find a new home where an owner can give it the time and attention it deserves.
