1967 Everett Morisson Shelby Cobra. This is a very high quality build with less than 3300 miles since completion. This is a fiberglass body with the 4” tubular chassis just like the original cobra chassis. This is one of the rare extended versions (+11”) so the car is much more comfortable than the others with a lot of legroom. The build of the car includes: Corvette style front end. Compomotive Wheels from he UK. Jasper Racing Built 351W engine. Tremec Hydraulic 5 Speed. 8. 8 Limited Slip Rear with adjustable Coil Overs. 4 wheel disk brakes. Lemans Fuel Cap. British Windshield. Moto Lita Steering Wheel. Aluminum Fuel Tank and Radiator. Factory Five High Back Race Seats with 5 Point Harness. Super high quality paint. etc. Well built. with over$41. 00 in receipts excluding build hours. It is an extremely fast car that turns heads. and has been a favorite at local car shows; winning multiple trophies. It is titled as a 1967 vehicle and is street worthy. and has never been tracked. EXTERIOR DETAILS: Exceptional fiberglass body. The Everett Morisson kit has super thick body panels. The 4” tubular chassis is similar to the original Cobra. There are no flaws in the paint or body. The paint is exceptionally glossy and very expensive. It is an 11” extended version. which is rare. This extended version allows for additional leg room and comfort getting in and out. This Cobra is fitted with Compomotive Wheels from the UK. The windshield was also ordered from the UK which is very high quality; giving the car the authentic look. It has a Lemans style racing fuel filler cap as well as dual Chromed Stainless Steel Roll Bars for safety and for an impressive appearance. The stainless header to side pipe exhaust is not only exceptional in looks. but sounds just like a factory built race car. EXTERIOR RATING 9. 5 out of 10 INTERIOR DETAILS: This Cobra is fitted with the non-traditional high back racing seats from Factory Five and Simpson 5 Point racing harness. The seats are adjustable and secure. The dash is fitted with Stewart Warner gauges and all work except the oil temp gauge. which is not hooked up. but the green wire that can be seen under the hood is how it would connect. The car has a tilt-wheel column and is fitted with a traditional wood grain Moto Lita wheel with spun aluminum spokes and cobra center cap. There are five toggle switches on the dash (Headlights. Brights. Wipers. and dash lights as well as an electric fuel pump toggle which is always left on). There is a cut-off “kill” switch under the dash as well. The interior is thoroughly heat shielded. The glove box is functional and is finished in a nice burlwood stain. The interior door panels are set up similar to the traditional Cobras. with no vinyl. leather. or fabric. The fiberglass doors have pull cords for the door latches. This car is a true Roadster. but does not have a custom canvas zip away tonneau cover for protection. The carpet is custom fitted and covers all the areas you would expect. The correct short throw shifter on the console is fitted with a Cobra shift knob and shifts with ease. INTERIOR RATING 8. 5 out of 10 ENGINE BAY & MECHANICAL: The engine is a Jasper Racing prepared 351W crate motor with aluminum heads producing between 430 and 450 hp. It is a roller motor that runs on Premium pump gas. This Cobra is fitted with the incredible Tremec hydraulic clutch 5 speed. which was purchased new out of the box. Lakewood “scatterproof” Bell Housing. Rear end is the Ford 8. 8” limited slip rear with 3:25 gears for great acceleration as well as highway driving. Optima battery is mounted in the trunk. behind a hidden panel. It has Monte Carlo style 4-wheel manual disk brakes with adjustable coil over shocks at each shoe. Aluminum fuel tank and radiator were installed as well as aluminum over flow tank. It has electric cooling fan and fuel pump. It does NOT run hot and is BONE DRY with no leaks or drips. Has MSD ignition and racing plug wires. This car is extremely reliable. and could be driven from Florida to California. The corvette style front end with energy suspension bushings makes the performance of the handling unparalleled.
