Description of 1962 Replica/Kit Makes Brunton

Brunton Stalker V6 replica of 1962 Lotus 7. Titled and registered as 1962 in VA. Chassis #88 purchased in 2006 and has been an on again - (mostly) off again project. This car is essentially complete. It just needs a bit of finishing work to be 100%.
Why would I sell a nearly completed project after this long? Basically I lost interest long ago - I was much more of a "gear head" when I started it but I'm just not into it any more and have no drive to finish it. I had some big problems getting it to this point and it burned me out. So my loss (of interest) is your gain!
For the most part, the car is complete. It's registered and insured, and can pass VA state inspection (currently expired however.) The main things it needs are:
- Paint and general cosmetics- Tuning- Gas gauge isn't working- MAY have an overheating problem - last time I took it out the gauge showed it overheating but it didn't seem to actually be (no steam or other signs) so may be a gauge or sensor problem only- Tires have been on it for a while now, tho it's been inside almost the whole time so they seem to have no degradation - use your judgement- Battery works, but is also fairly old and slow to turn over so may need replacing soon.

One thing to note that may affect getting it registered depending on your state - the engine that is in it is not the same one as when I registered it. The first one failed soon after due to a machinist error. The one in it now is from a local yard and I was told it had 30K on a rebuild. You can see the rebuild badges on the engine. But that does mean the numbers no longer match.
It does generally run well, tho needs a final tuning. Idles a bit high and overall running a bit rich.

Other details:- '93 Chevy Camaro 3.4L 60 degree V6 with TBI from 4.3L V6 (intake machined to match)
- DIS ignition
- Megasquirt EFI controller- 5 speed manual transmission - T5 from early 90's S-10- Rear end from 80's S-10- Front discs and rear aluminum drums
Frame is painted in POR-15. There is one area with a bit of surface rust from an earlier leak at the clutch master. There is NO LEAK currently, but the fluid took off the paint and it's rusted some there.
Payment via Escrow.com or cash on pickup.
I strongly recommend planning to come and pick up the car in person. Shipping will be at your arrangement, but being a open-air roadster you will likely want covered transport.
