This is my 82 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit. I have truly enjoyed this car, t was my 'starter Rolls' before I bought my real Rolls Royce idol, he Silver Cloud, his summer. At the time I planned to sell the SS then decided against it, ut with a few dozen cars in the collection now and two more cars coming at the end of this month I need to make some hard choices, his car is one of them. Storage space is the limiting factor so some cars have to go to make room. This Silver Spirit runs, rives and stops well. It has no rust, nywhere at all. The interior leather and carpets were fully refurbished in 2014, hanging the leather color from a milk chocolate brown to a rich dark espresso color which contrasts nicely against the wood finish. Previously, ny worn suspension bushings were replaced, ew rear hydraulic spheres installed, ew brakes, ew fuel accumulator, ew battery, nd the fan clutch was replaced. The only issue that wasn't fixed relates to an electrical gremlin that was traced down to the connection block between the interior wiring harness and the engine compartment harness. This block exists of blade connections on both sides and by randomly wiggling the connectors the climate controls and temperature readout will function, r not. I planned on replacing or eliminating the connector block but got distracted by the Silver Cloud instead. I drove this car frequently (during the summer only), s it is very comfortable, asy to drive and smoothly keeps up with traffic. Driving this is pretty much like navigating a small but peppy yacht around town, t feels like you're floating. Lots of space and lots of stares. These are great cars. I hope this one goes its next home with someone who will care for it and enjoy it. Listing without reserve, t has to be picked up by the end of the month.Â
