Description of 1969 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow

This two owner 1969 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow is posted with no reserve. The car was purchased in New York and shipped to St. Louis where it has been maintained in a heated garage for the past dozen years.

The owner, a long-time family friend, is in failing health. Earlier this year, he requested that my family prepare the Rolls Royce for sale. A truly heartbreaking decision ...

We invested $7,000 to return the Rolls Royce to its former glory (i.e., brake overhaul, odometer and clock repair, new electric antenna, etc.).

The odometer shows 13,445 miles. My friend claims the car showed 12,000 miles at time of purchase. The odometer broke a few years ago. Since my friend only used the Rolls Royce for periodic Sunday drives, I'm guessing the maximum mileage is 15,000.

I'm happy to arrange a call with the mechanic that worked on this car since the Rolls Royce arrived in St. Louis.

The starting bid is set $17,000. I was offered this "wholesale amount" by an established St. Louis classic car dealer.
