1983 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER SPUR CLEAN INSIDE AND OUT! CLASSIC ROLLS ROYCE THAT LOOKS GREAT! RARE AND UNIQUE!! INTERIOR LOOKS VERY GOOD! NICE PAINT, STRAIGHT BODY AND SOLID UNDERCARRIAGE WITH NO RUST! NEW VA STATE INSPECTION! THIS CAR WILL NEED TO BE TRANSPORTED, NOT DRIVEN, TO THE WINNING BIDDER'S DESTINATION (READ BELOW FOR DETAILS). A $486 PROCESSING FEE AND 0.2% TAX WILL APPLY TO THIS SALE. This classic and beautiful 1983 Rolls Royce Silver Spur is a good buy for any enthusiast!! It's in very good condition cosmetically both inside and out. The paint looks good all around the car. The interior looks very nice! The body and undercarriage are staight and solid with no rust! The beautiful leather interior features luxurious and supportive leather seats, clean carpets, nice trim, great looking door panels, clean headliner with no drooping, and more. This Rolls Royce has a good strong engine and smooth shifting automatic transmission! The engine runs great and does not smoke. The climate control system works (turns on and changes airflow vents), the blower works and the compressor engages, but the a/c is not blowing cold (we have not diagnosed the reason why, but is most likely just low on freon). This classic Rolls Royce runs and drives, but cannot be safely driven at this time due to the following problems: 1.) the brake booster hydraulic pump is too weak to stop the car safely (the pedal is hard and there is almost no power assist when braking) and 2.) the internal transmission fluid pump is bad which is causing the transmission fluid to backflow up the fill tube and spill out onto the exhaust manifold creating a great deal of smoke. The parts to repair both of these items are cheap. The labor for the power steering pump is cheap, but the transmission pump replacement requires removing the transmission. It is a Chevrolet transmission, so parts are cheap. Those are the two major problems with this car. Some other more minor mechanical issues are: the power steering system has a leak in the steering rack (rebuilt racks are available on ebay for about $600), the power windows on the right side work, but move very slowly, the radio has no power, and the power seats do not move (the motors are working, but the seats don't move). Otherwise than those issues, this is a beautiful classic Rolls Royce. The main components of this car such as the engine, transmission (as a whole), body, chassis, interior, and more are in great condition! This Silver Spur has a NEW VA STATE INSPECTION (the brake booster issue did not materialize until after we state inspected the vehicle).
