Description of 1948 Rolls-Royce Wraith

For sale is my1948 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith Hearse.
Very rear body type: can be restored to its original glory, or use the chassis for any other modifications with the body.
It is a great candidate for restoration as it comes mostly with all of its original parts, except the front fenders, and gas tank.
Work was started (frame is complete for the most part, please see pics), but never had time to bring it to its full completion. The car comes with itsoriginal motor(#W42E )with 6 brand new pistons (please see pic # ), complete rear differential, fully functional steering wheel, original transmition, complete instrumental panel (speedometer, fuel gauge, clock, amp meter, oil/water, Ignition switch), RR grill with unbent vents; radiator, pair of large LUCAS headlights; copy of the owners manual, and many more parts, too many to list (please see pics). It was a complete car before it was taken apart for restoration process.
Body is all aluminum, so no rust anywhere on the body. Frame is rust-free as well. Due to its age (70 years), wood has seen better times & would need to be replaced. One of the front tires is blown; other tree seems holding air ok. All glass is available, and is in perfect condition. All door handles are present, to my best knowledge.

In conclusion, I think it is a nice project car that would look very nice when it is completed. The work is not for everyone, as it will require putting the engine back together, probably some welding job, wood job, painting, etc. At the same time, these cars are not easy to find, and with every dollar spend towards its completion, you are definitely building equity.

Shipping:I can assist you in international shipping, if needed. The car does not have a title at the moment (even though I can apply for one if it would be absolutely necessary.) However, it might slow down the shipment of the vehicle. To my knowledge, US customs allows export of the car without the title, if it does not come with an engine. So, worth case scenario, we can ship the car & the engine separately, if you don`t want to wait for the process of obtaining the title.
Payment: Deposit (non-refundable) is due with 24 hrs of the end of the auction via PayPal.The remaining balance is due within 3 days. If full payment is not received by the end of third business day, the transaction will be cancelled, and the car will be relisted.
All sales are final, so please ask questions beforehand. I am willing to answer any of your questions to my best knowledge and send you any additional photos if needed, but I don`t want to waste your time, as well as mine.
