Description of 1962 Rolls-Royce Other Silver Cloud

1962 Bentley/Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II resto-mod
This lovely Rolls was restored/rebuilt with all new, modern mechanicals about 2 years ago. Originally a Bentley S2, it was converted to a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud. This car was built to be safe, reliable, and drive-able; it wasn't built to be a garage queen. You can drive this to car shows - no trailer required.
The entire drive-train, electrical system, suspension, and steering are modern built with new parts. This makes it very reliable and easy to maintain. No chasing down scarce, expensive, antique parts. No worries about finding a mechanic who can work on it.
Much time and cost spent ironing out the bugs and glitches that happen with a complete build. This long and expensive process is finished and ready for sometime to enjoy. About $90K invested with all receipts and documentation. I started a small wedding limo service in Wichita, KS and was doing well but just decided to close down to move onto a bigger venture.
There would be no problem picking this car up in Wichita and driving it to either coast. I've recently driven it to Missouri and Oklahoma and it does great on the highway. I've measured 20.3 MPG on the highway. It's less MPG in city driving.

Modern front subframe and suspensionModern Camaro brakesModern Mustang II steeringVery large front and rear sway barsConverted to left hand driveModern GM steering column (one of the few used parts)Custom built rear leaf springs. These don't need grease and wrapping as original springs do.Custom built two piece drive shaft
Dual Vintage Air systems, one front, one rearOriginal seat beltsOriginal interiorConverted to left hand driveOriginal Burlwood Walnut woodModern gauges with vintage lookRare limo partition with pull out trays, has power window.Tilt wheel
Note that one of the build pictures shows headers used for exhaust. These were switched to manifolds since I wanted quiet, not performance.

Here's the list of imperfections and issues that need addressing:Since there's a new, taller gear in the rear axle, the speedometer is off. The little gear on the speedometer cable needs to be changed for an accurate speedometer.
Original AM radio there but not hooked up. Personally, I'd install a modern stereo of some sort, either hidden or with a vintage look.
There's a small scrape on very bottom corner of front passenger door. About penny size.
Interior looks great but front carpet is ready for replacement. Minor wear but it has the holes for the pedals from when it was a right hand drive car.
I don't have the door key. The glove box is locked and I've never opened it. I'm curious as to what's inside it!

I can't ship the car till Oct 28 at earliest. I have one last wedding to do on Oct 27. I figure it will take at least to the 28th to arrange payment and handle paper work and shipper to get here.
Please note my perfect feedback. I sold several cars on EBay with no problems whatsoever. This will be my 4th vintage Rolls-Royce I've sold.
I'll send my phone number if you'd like to discuss Just request by email.
Youtube video of car coming soon.
