It formed the basis for the Flying Spur, Silver Dawn, Touring Limousine, Park Ward, and Bentley Mulsanne/Eight series. With an emphasis on build-quality, luxury and smoothness, the company’s extraordinary cars have always been designed and built by hand using only the finest materials. Approximately 14 hand selected leather hides are used manufacture each interior and every inch of wood within a complete car comes from the exact same tree. Rolls Royce is widely regarded as one of the world’s finest handmade cars! – Note: This car has a very interesting provenance as it was originally owned by Peter Epsteen (See Window Sticker Photo). Epsteen was a large-volume automobile dealer and was known to have ties to the mafia in Chicago and Palm Springs. Through his mafia connections, Epsteen became associated with Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr and Dean Martin, all of whom were featured in television commercials promoting his automobile dealerships. Epsteen was convicted and sentenced to prison for his role in an automobile dealership kick-back scheme in the mid-1990s. Epsteen died in Palm Springs, California in 1997. |
