Description of 1961 Bentley Other

For sale is this 1961 Bentley S-2. It has been stored indoors in Belleville NJ (where it is avail for inspection and pick-up) for a few years. It was a project that has been halted due to financial reasons. It was in excellent condition and fullydrive-ablewhen given over for the resto.
The car has been repainted to a beautiful finish. Original color was olive, hen a two-tone navy over silver, nd now all silver. All cosmetics have been done.
All interior and exterior bright work has been re-chromed.
All wood on fascia and rear tables has been stripped and refinished.
All new leather seats have been installed.
New head-liner in place.
Mechanically sound, ut will of course need service. Brake system was working fine at last check. It has the rare factory-installed air conditioning, hich will need looking after, s it was losingFreonwhen driven, nd will naturally need new and safe gas. There is a short somewhere that will need looking after- radio and some interior lights cut out. This car has the old style fuses, ut comes with wire and a full and original tool kit. White wall tries most likely can be restored, ut they have been on the car for 15 years so its a judgement call, owever still have plenty of tread.
The car is now outside under a tarp, nd has become dirty. Almost all of the interior is still stored inside.
This is a perfect car for someone who know his or her way around a Bentley or Rolls. All the expensive work has been done. It needs to be assembled, otor checked and tuned up, nd someone will have a car worth a heck of a lot more than he or she paid.
