Let me start by saying there is NO plaque on the glove box door but I do strongly suspect this to be a Springtime In Sweden original mainly due to the VIN plaque in the trunk that signifies body color (170B) which is black and trim color (E33) which is Buffalo Gray. The only convertibles shipped to the US in 1988 in that color scheme were the SIS models. It was originally shipped to the dealer in Knoxville, TN. This beauty cranks every time but I haven't had it out on the open road in two years. No rust in the usual places such as bottom of doors or frame. Just a bit of surface rust in floor board from damp carpet. Things that need attention are top, tires, springs, a battery and probably brakes. I recently replaced the entire exhaust system. The paint is thin in places where the PO had it covered with a tarp. There is also a dent in the driver door where he fell into it. I have tossed the carpet due to mold. The seats are fair for a soon-to-be 30 year old car. I have had several of these great cars so feel free to send any questions. Also included is the dark gray hard cover for the convertible top when it is down. As an added bonus I will include three more wheels of the same type. New Comment: The car is complete with the exception of the carpet/padding, battery and shifter boot. The PO let it sit for about two years due to no start issue. I replaced the ignition switch and it has never failed to start since. You will notice in the photo that it has the Saab/Momo steering wheel. I will leave it in since I posted it that way but if the car doesn't sell I will swap it out with the original. This car has never been my daily driver but I drove it frequently for about a year but got tired of dodging rain with the holey top. I recently got married and moved and no longer have a garage to store it or work on it.
