Selling the cars to buy a fishing boat 1967 Saab 96 Monte Carlo with 35923 miles on the odometer. I did a driver quality restoration on this car for a customer about 13 or 14 years ago. The customer did the disassembly and re assembly and before he had it fully sorted sold it to me. I have been driving it for 4 years and put about 6500 miles on it. I used the car for local running around and driving back and forth to work on nice days. I never really used it for trips of over 25 or 30 miles. As far as I know the motor is stock and original. Car starts, stops, shifts, handles well. The car is not 100% original, not a show car, but a very presentable driver.Pros are: very rust free example, pertronix ignition, electric fuel pump and pressure regulator mod, almost everything functions as it shouldCons: minor oil drip after running, clock not working, speaker hole in passenger door (no speaker) and most importantly, I believe there is a crack or rust in the fuel pick up within the fuel tank. The car will "run out of gas" when the fuel level shows approx 1/2 tank. I have just dealt with this but the tank could be replaced or sent out for refurbishing by a tank specialist.I will try to post some underside photos in the next day or 2Please contact me with questions or additional for photos thru ebay or call for an honest description and walk around the car at 717-278-7381
