SPECTACULAR Highdollar restoration/"Actual" low mileage title.Four Speed/matching numbers/Factory AC/Highly optioned rare ShelbyExterior: Acapulco BlueInterior: BlackConvertible Top: WhiteMileage:50,052 (Actual mileage) Driven 63 miles since 2009A mile or 2 at a time every few months by myself. There was a slight drizzle when I photographed the car, lease excuse the few small raindrops. Started on a regular basis and fuel changed each year and battery every couple of years.Engine: Original 302 4V V-8Transmission: 4/speed manualAxle ratio: 3:89 Standard ratioSerial Number:8T03J206139-03239From world famous Miller's Museum in Jupiter,FL1 of 404 Built in 1968.1 of 214 ordered with this engine & Transmission.I could NOT find out how many were ordered with this many options...especially Air-conditioning on a convertible but I have been told only 10% or less with this many factory options! That translates to approx. 40 cars! How many are in this condition? It was scheduled to be built on May 22nd1968 and was actually built onMay 23rd, 968 and released on May 24th,1968.It was built in the Metuchen Plant. It was DSO item #3239 and was a retail order scheduled to go to S DJones Motors, nc. in Shippensburg, A but ended up being sold toC & C Ford in Horsham, A.Mr. John (Jack) Miller purchased this car from our mutual friend, ohn Staluppi while it was in John's Cars From Dreams Museum in North Palm Beach. You can see a copy of the actual bill of sale in the auction and copy of his check for $153,749. Jack bought & paid for this car back on October 19th, 009 and has lived in his loving care & Museum ever since.Jack Miller is going to give some lucky bidder a great buy on this car! This is the 1st time this car has been offered for sale since Cars From Dreams, LCpurchased this car which if I recall correctly was 2007.Both of these Gentleman collect the best of the best and this is one gorgeous looking and great running car. When it was restored in 1994 it was a no expense spared correct restoration which is documented by all the receipts. This car was originally Highland Green with a white convertible top and Black interior decor. When meticulously restored while in the ownership of Mark Theisen in 1994, e opted to have the color changed from Highland Green to Acapulco Blue. This 1968 Shelby GT350 Convertible was ordered by C & C Ford, 100 Easton Road, oute 611, orsham, ennsylvania. It was sold to C& C Ford by Shelby Automotive,15670 West 10 Mile Road in Southfield, ichigan.Serial number: 8T03J206139-03239The dealer invoice cost was $5174.72 which included $62.75 in shipping charges. Here is the breakdown of the dealer cost in 1968:1968 Shelby Cobra GT-350 Convertible: $4238.14 (base cost)Power Disc Brakes: $64.66Power Steering: $84.47Shoulder harness:$50.76Radio-AM Push Button: $57.59Tilt-Away Steering Wheel: $62.18Firestone belted poly glass BSW tireswith white lettering:$60.25Selectaire air conditioner: $354.10 (Tinted Glass was required)Aluminum alloy 15" ten spoke wheels:$200.67Total :$5174.72Ownership History...what I find amazing is all of the owners listedlived within a short distance of each other in the greater Philadelphiaarea...and Jack Miller, wner of The Mustang Barn grew up in the Philadelphia area.Janet Weaver inherited this car from her Father upon his death who owned the car during the 1970's.Janet Weaver sold the car to Warren Perkins who owned the car from 1979 until 1989.Warren Perkins sold the car in 1989 to Rick D'Antonio who owned the car from 1989 until 1992.Rick D'Antonio sold the car in 1992 to Mark Theisen who owned this car from 1992 until 2007.Mark Theisen, he gentleman who began to have this fantastic car restored in 1994 to the highest of standards, pted to have the color changed to Acapulco Blue. The restoration was done to perfect and it is not possible to detect that this car was once Highland Green. If a color change to this degree of perfect bothers you, suggest you look for a Highland Green 68 Shelby GT350 Convertible restored to this level. The Marti report reflects that this car was ordered with the following:Black Power Convertible top with Glass BackliteExtra Cooling PackageVisibility GroupPower SteeringPower Front Disc BrakesTilt-Away Steering ColumnAM push button radioInterior Decor GroupHeavy Duty BatteryTachometer & Trip OdometerFront & Rear Bumper GuardsWheel Lip MoldingsStandard Equipment was:Power Convertible TopHeater & Defroster4-Speed Manual shifter TransmissionTachometer & OdometerExtra Cooling PackageIntegral Roll BarOil Pressure Gauge, mp meter,Deluxe Interior with Center ConsoleDeluxe Steering Wheel and Remote Control Outside Rear View MirrorHere for your convenience is the Door Plate Information Decoded:S means Built in 1968Tmeans built at the Metuchen Plant03 means Shelby ConvertibleJ means 302 4V Engine106.139 means Mustang Schedule for production at Metuchen3,329 Means Shelby Scheduled For Production76B Means Shelby ConvertibleR Means Highland Green Paint6AA Means Black Decor Bucket Seats22E Means Scheduled for Product On May 22nd8D2930 Means Home Office Reserve Ordering District Under OrderNumber 2930.1 Means Standard Axle Ratio 3.895 Means Four-Speed Manual Transmission

I can think of over $100,000 reasons why you want to buy a car like this all done and restored to "AS NEW" If you think differently, han go out and have a nut & bolt restoration done on a 68 Shelby Convertibe today and let me know how quickly you can spend $200,000 or more. This is an actual mileage car and when purchased by Jack Miller from Cars From Dreams, LC(John Staluppi's Museum) on October 19th, 009, t had recorded 49,989 miles. Everything was rebuilt in 1994 when the car was restored to perfection.Since 2009 it has been driven 63 miles and I say with pride & a big smile I was fortunate to put almost every mile on what use to be "My Favorite Shelby" when I owned this car.You know how you can tell when a car was restored the right way?You look at the car and then drive it 20 years after the restoration was completed. If the car drives like and looks like the restoration was donevery recently...then you know the work was done right with no expense spared. This is that type of car. It looks and drives incredible and the AC blows cold.In the auction is a copy of Jack (John) Millers) buyers order and check for $153,749 made out to Cars From Dreams, LCIf you want the best of the best...this is the 1968 GT350 Shelby Convertible you have been dreaming about.Jack Miller is going to give some lucky bidder a great buy on this car!It now has50,052 actual miles. When the restoration was done it had approximately somewhere between 49,000-49,750 actual miles. The engine, transmission, etc. were rebuilt to exacting factory specs andI estimate this car has been driven approximately 400-500 miles since completely restored.I could go on and on about this car but you need to see and drive to really appreciate it.I am doing my best to be objective and Impartial but it is difficult.I loved this car when I bought it back in 2007 and still am in love with it today! This is a no disappointment rare Shelby ConvertibleThe codes on the plate under the hood have much of the same information along with the Vin Number and Shelby Numberbut also have the factory codes for all of the options this car was ordered and built with...this is THE REAL DEAL SHELBY!You could eat off the undercarriage of this car!The entire collection is being sold and every car is priced fairly and at prices that can only appreciate in value! It has become a "must dining place"and is still going strong after 27 years. In 2013 the Millers sold their extremely successful restaurant chain with70 locations spanning from South Florida to Las Vegas, evada. The selling price to Roark was undisclosed but it is public knowledge that the chain grossed over $340 Million the prior year. While Jack & Claire were building and expanding their restaurant business, ack was also pursuing his life long love affair with the automobile, nd in particular the iconic Ford Mustang.By 2008 Jack hadaccumulated somany cars that he had run out of warehouse space in Jupiter to store his collection. He purchased over2acres in Jupiter and built the world renowned Miller's Mustang Barn. When Jack & Claire opened the Museum in 2010, ack had the world's largest and finest collection of Mustangs....which included Shelbys Mustangs, oush Mustangs, ord Mustangs, aleen Mustangs and some one of a kind custom built Mustangs. In addition to Mustangs, ack has 6 or 7 very special other cars from the 50's & 60's and allhis collectionwillbeoffered for sale exclusively on Ebaymotors.com.The Museum has existed for a couple of reasons..to house this incredible car collection and to host special events to raise money for some of the Miller's favorite charities....it really has never been opento the general public as Jack has been very protective of his cars....with air-conditioning and humidifiers running 24 hrs a day, days a week and 365 days a year. All cars have been kept on battery tenders and started up and driven a mile or so once a month with the fluids, uel, tc.checked & changed on a regular basis. Jack has had a full time staff taking very good care of his collection....and now the public will be offered through Ebay the opportunity to own one or more of Jack's fabulous collection...truly a once in a lifetime opportunity!Jack is the only car collector I am aware of who had the foresight to buy almost every model Ford, helby, aleen & Roush made since 2006 and preserve them in brand new condition in a climatic controlled car Museum. He also sought out and purchased the very best Shelby Mustangs from the 1960's. The Mustang collection encompasses coupes, onvertibles and fastbacks. If any one of these incredible cars are kept in their current condition, n 15-20 years their investment value will be nothing short of amazing. Every car in the collection is really incomparable to anything elseyou might find being available for purchase. If you are the individual who demands the very best of the best....you won't be disappointed!Every car is in number one condition. Many of the cars reflect the production number of being the very 1st one built in a limited series or the very last one built in the series. In some cases the museum has the 1st and the last of the series. All of the Saleens were signed by Steve Saleen when he visited the Museum and several of the Roush cars were signed by Jack Roush as were the Shelby cars signed by Carroll Shelby who also visited the museum.Carroll told Jack Miller that the Museum is what he would imagine "Mustang Heaven" to be if one existed.I personally love all ORIGINAL documented low mileage cars and among the collection is a very special 1957 Ford Galaxy 500 Skyliner. It is the lowest documented mileage Ford Galaxy Skyliner Retractable Hardtop/Convertible with an "ACTUAL MILEAGE" title of 9800 miles known to exist anywhere in the world. The Museum removed the original tires from 1957 with 9800 miles and has them stored in large plastic bags....I have driven this car and was blown away how incredible it drives....and everything works to perfection.I have had the great pleasure of driving every car in the museum, lbeit it most were just for 1 or 2 miles.Jack was doing his best to cope with his continuing loss of vision as a result of a rare eye disease....even so he could be seen in the Sky box at almost every major auction buying more cars for The Mustang Barn. Two years ago he bought the "Wounded Warriors" Mustang with his final bid of $450,000 going 100% to our heroic wounded warriors. When the "Wounded Warriors" Mustang is sold on Ebay, ll the proceeds will again bedonated to the Wounded Warrior Fund.Jack called me a few weeks ago and let me know thatthe time had come to sell his collection because he could "no longer enjoy any of his cars" He sadly told me, Marv, can't see any of the cars...all I can do is feel them and the fun of having these great cars is gone....it's time to let someonewho can actually drive and enjoy them....own one or more of them.Jack has decided to sell them all through the Ebay auction process which will make the cars more affordable to own and to save the buyer the large fees that are charged at every collector car auction. The added bonus is any new buyer can have the option of taking delivery of his or hers new purchase at The Mustang Barn.....but this will have to happen within the next few months as the entire building and it's contents, less the cars, ave already been sold. The Museum is really worth making a trip to Jupiter to see...Jupiter is a short 20 mile ride on I-95 North of the Palm Beach International Airport. The new owner has graciously given Jack until November 1st, 015 to remove all of his cars. This collection of cars falls into 3 categories as far as condition is concerned and if it is in this Museum collection every car really is the BEST OF THE BEST!1.The late model special limited production cars can be honestly described as:BRAND NEW IN SHOWROOM CONDITION!They look new-they smell new-they have VERY low mileage with most less than 100 miles & they are PERFECT!2. The restored vintage cars are all in Number 1 condition and have had either a Rotisserie Restoration or a Body-Off-The-Frame Restoration.3.The ORIGINAL vintage cars with documented very low mileage are in our opinion the best known to exist in the world!Any unsoldremaining cars will be moved to a warehouse in Jupiter,Florida. onNovember 1st,2015and willcontinue to be offered for salethrough the auction format on Ebaymotors.com.Please give us a call at954-873-6495to discuss the car and the lowest possible acceptable price. We can be reached atluvdg@aol.comand if you have a trade, lease send us photos and a complete description.Thiscar being offeredon Ebay Motorscould be entered in any of the topcollector auctions and would certainly sell for more money...but since March of 2000we have sold most of our cars on Ebay Motors and are proud of our 100% feedback rating.Wealso get to know the new owner of any of our cars andwe enjoy the personal interaction with the new owner more than the large auction house experience. It also gives us the opportunity of considering a car or cars in trade......having been a vintage car collector for more than 50 years and still active in the hobby...is very rewarding and still a ball!It also gives the buyer the opportunity for a personal tour of the world famous Mustang Barn before it closes it's doors...the new owner wants to move inNovember 1st, 015.
