1965 Factory Five Racing Cobra 5 litre 5 speed FI

Absolutely beautiful 2005 FFR Cobra Roadster. Built with new 2005 Ford Cobracomponents. The actual body kit is a few years older but was assembled and titled in 2005. Built by a shop in Florida, Retro Motorsports". Ebay won't accept the actual VIN if I list it here as a 2005. But the actual VIN is FFR2853K, hich matches the VIN tag, ticker in the trunk, nd the Ohio title.

I am I think the 3rd owner. First owner had it built, hen his father owned it for awhile (I consider them as one), hen a friend, nd now I. Between previous lawsuits and divorces this car was barely driven. I only have second hand details of this, ut the car's condition speaks for itself. If at all possible come see it.

Whoever did the body and paint was very good. This car looks fantastic. Level panels with smooth, lossypaint.

This car fires up immediately, oars to life really! Typical of side pipe Cobras, glorious sound, ut definitely not discreet! Car flies with surprisingly nice road manners, ice solid chassis, irm brakes. just a huge hoot to drive. Don't get careless.

Leather seats. No power options, ust power. As far as I know this is a bone stock 2005 Ford Cobra FI engine. This is a very light car, he power feeling is exceptional.

I've had this car going on two years and it mostly remains trapped in my garage by other projects. It needs a new loving home.

On the last time I drove this car it developed an ignition problem which somehow also fried the original electronic speedometer (or vice versa?). The service tech explained it to me, ut electronics are not my forte. Turned out the ignition module had failed, hich we replaced along with a new speedometer. I included a photo of the old speedo next to the new one already installed in the dash. The new one still needs to be calibrated on a measured mile coarse.

If you're hankering for one of these cars you should consider this one. It's dang near like new, eady to go. You could not begin to build one for what this'll sell for.

Actual VIN is FFR2853K but ebay won't accept it. This is the number on the car and the title.
