This is a rare and extremely well documented "Contemporary Cobra"...the most respected name in the reproduction Cobra market! Produced by Contemporary Classic Motor Car Company of Mamaroneck, New York. These cars have a reputation of being the most precise rendition and the best engineered of all of the aftermarket Cobras. Contemporary Cobras enjoy a collectible status of their own! This Cobra was completed in 1997, and is titled as a 1965 Ford Cobra. The current mileage is ONLY 2424 ORIGINAL MILES! The engine is a 427 side oiler fitted with a four speed top loader transmission, two 750-cfm Holley carburetors, polished tunnel wedge intake manifold, chromes air cleaners, stainless steel water lines, aluminum 427 valve covers, electric fan, stainless steel fuel lines, Fuel Safe fuel cell, chromed steering linkage and other chromed, polished and detailed parts. All fabrication, installation and detail is excellent. Rated at 500+ horsepower! The chassis is tubular powder coated black with a Jaguar XKE-Type front suspension. All chassis components are highly detailed. painted, plated or chromed. This Cobra has Wilwood Super Lite brakes and Hildebrandt wheels. The interior is equipped with Smith instrumentation, 3" Simpson lap and shoulder harness belts, Black Wilton wool carpet and black leather and black quick snap cockpit cover. This car comes with extensive documentation including the early build sheet, repair orders, receipts, manuals and a binder of photos documenting the build process! This vehicle also meets the 15 year old requirement for export criteria.
