Description of 1987 Shelby GLHS |
If you've found this car I'll assume you know what it is. If not, I'd suggest you google Shelby GLHS as there are volumes of information on these rare cars. This is #0055 out of 1,000 made. It runs, stops, drives and handles excellent. Smooth power and ready for any drive. It's driver quality, not show quality. It was painted by the previous owner a few years back due to common fading and is what most would consider a good 20 footer. I bought my first turbo Dodge in the mid-80's and owned countless more since. This is by far the best running example I've ever owned. Tires are new as is the clutch. The radio was removed by the P.O. and I never replaced it as I'd much rather listen to the sounds from the car itself. Speaking of which, here is a video I just made of the car driving as well as a walk-around of the vehicle: https://youtu.be/gjnLo4qiY3s (copy and paste the link - or search Youtube for "Shelby GLHS #0055") Another interesting thing about these cars is that since they're numbered you can easily search the internet for photos and history of your car, like this: http://moparblog.com/five-1987-shelby-charger-glhss-up-for-auction/ |
