Description of 1960 Studebaker Lark |
*** You need to check with your state's DMV and make sure you can obtain a title for this vehicle PRIOR to placing a bid. Alabama law does not require titles for vehicles 35+ years old therefore it does not have a title and will only come with a bill of sale. *** 1960 Studebaker Lark Convertible. Last tagged in 1969. Originally the car appears to be white with black interior. It then was repainted two tone yellow and green. The motor and transmission are missing but originally it came with a 259ci V8 4V. It does have the Twin Traction rear end. The entire floor on this car is gone including the rockers so restoration would probably bee too costly. Consider it for parts only. The convertible top frame is there. The seats are there but the springs look pretty rough. All of the trim is there (with extra trim and another grille from another car it appears), he side skirts, wo convertible top rams, tc. The dash, uages, nd steering column are there. There is also what appears to be a leather convertible top boot that could be used as a pattern to make a new one. The doors are rotted at the bottom. The hood and trunk lid might can be used after patching up some holes. The fenders look really good. Just one silver dollar size hole at the bottom of the passenger side fender. The hood looks good. The glass looks good except for the windshield. The bumpers look good and just need the dings hammered out and rechromed. Let me know if you have any questions. |
