Recently took this very desirable and difficult to find 1950 Studebaker convertible in trade. It is one of the few I have ever seen with an automatic transmission. We were told that the engine and transmission have been rebuilt, owever we do not have documentation to support that. It starts right up, uns smoothly, uiet, rives, hifts and stops well. Over all it is very straight. Like so many of these models, he floors rocker panels, ight door bottom and trunkfloorhave seen better days and will need to be replaced. New floors and panels are readily available. The canvas top is worn out, ut the convertible frame is in excellent shape and works well. The glass looks good all around and the windows roll up and down easily, xcept for the passenger door. We have not checked the radio, ipers, r lights. This is a very worthy car to restore and we have been very tempted to keep it,however business needs are pressing us to at least give you a chance to own it. You already know what a rare find it is.
