i have for sale my 1949 studebaker 2r16a 1 1/2 ton truck. it has 30885 miles showing on the odometer, he engine runs good but could use some tuning, put a new coil on it and 5 new plugs(one of the plug holes has been drilled and tapped with a larger plug) it probably could use cap and rotor and wires and fresh gas, dont know how long it had been setting when i got it and have never put gas in it. I had it tagged and insured and drove it some on a few short trips around the house, t drives and brakes well, he clutch works good but it grinds in between shifts (probably needs fresh fluids) i bought it off a lady who inherited from her late fathers estate and he had done some restoration to it. the flatbed has all new treated lumber, ts been converted to 12volt, t has a lot of new lights on it but they need wired up. the truck will need wired completely, he key works and it charges and thats all that is wired, t needs a start button put in, start it by crossing over the solenoid. the truck has 6 new tires that still have the (injection stubs) on them. the truck has been painted at some point and looks decent but nowhere near what i would call quality. the floorboards are perfect, he rockers may have had some rust repair but it doesn't look like they were horrible. the seats have been recovered. all the glass is good with the exception of drivers door vent, t is cracked on the inside layer. and the gauge cluster glass is cracked. I currently have the stake sides off of the bed but it is included, s in original conditio, he metal post are great, he wood is decent but some pieces are chippe, racked etc. the only other thingi can think of is the radiator leaks, t may be repairable or may need replaced. if you have any questions feel free to ask or come look at it in person. Ive tried to list all that i can think of but may have missed somethingthanksbrett
