Description of 1987 Studebaker Avanti |
|||||||||||||||||
I have too many projects going on now. So here goes. Ebay software would not allow me to enter the actual VIN number. Here it is- 12AAV122OH1000100 I'm selling my favorite car! The "WOLF" is a 1987 Avanti Touring Coupe. I have owned this car for 12 years and I am the fourth owner (documented). The second and third owner only had the car a short time with very little miles driven by them. The car has always been garage kept and covered. It is in excellent shape. Everything works except the Tachometer. Never got around to getting that fixed. The AC was converted to R134 by the third owner. It has a very, ery slow leak and I just charge it up once a year and it does fine. This car was built in South Bend, ndiana at the Studebaker plant. This was the last year that Avanti's were built there. There were only 200 built this year and this is number 100. They were hand built and have always used fiberglass bodies. The car is the original Gold color and has been re-painted once by a professional paint shop. This is a highly optioned car. See list below of everything this car has.
Please keep in mind that this car is 29 years old! While it is in excellent shape it is not perfect like a brand new car. It has 105,531 miles on it, erified. It has some normal wear due to it's age, uch as chrome wheels starting to show some wear, oors could use minor adjusting to fit perfectly, indow fuzzy on passenger side could be replaced etc... All are very minor things.It has won many, any first place trophies at car shows and has always been the most talked about car at many others. I would not be selling my "baby", ut I'm in the middle of restoring a 1935 Studebaker and I need the space. Too many cars and not enough time to devote to them all. You will not be disappointed in this car. Car is sold as is, here is,withoutwarranty of any kind. Buyer is responsible for any and all transportation arrangements. Title is clear and in hand and will be accompanied by bill of sale. A deposit through paypal of $1000.00 within 48 hours of purchase with the balance due within seven calendardays of conclusion of auction unless other arrangements with current owner are agreed upon. Vehicle must be picked up within ten calendar days of conclusion of auction, nless other arrangements with current owner have been agreed upon.Title will be released when payment has cleared and car is picked up. |
