This is a 1963 Studebaker Grand Turismo Hawk.It cameout ofCalifornia last year . Its a real driver, driver. An adult owned and driven classic piece of Americana. A weekend cruiser that is as happy on the interstate as it is on the old country back roads I drive it on. Complete with all the creature comforts you need today. Air Cond, power steering, power brakes, V, automatic transmissio, padded dash & duel exhaust. The last owned addeda continental kit, cruise control & back up lights . I've never used the cruise control & the radio doesn't work ( just never got around the checking it out ) but everything else works great. This car is far to nice & clean to call it a survivor. So I'll say its an older restoration . The paint can't be more than a few years old . Its not perfect, there is a ding or flake in 2 or 3 places but when polished it looks like new .Looks like a single stage paint jo, but a good one. I would say its a 7 or8 out of 10 and that's as good as a driver gets. The glass looks original as does the stainless trim & chrome .( There are 1 or 2 parts like the mirror that are showing there age.) But all in all I would say both are a good 8 or 9 . Inside the car is very clean you'll have to look hard to find any wear . The dash wood grain has been replaced with aluminum and the floor mats are newer. A good 8 or 9. The continental kit is not a fake or cheep reproduction its a real quality working replacemen, it stores the spare and tilts for eazy excess to the trunk. Tires are good but getting old. This car gets attention everywhere I drive it . One of those greatAmerican carswe areknown fo, like1959 Cadillac fins & 1963 split window Corvette . But you can still own this one on a working mans budget. With a good cleaning & detail its ready to show anywhere. I will look at offers and may take a part trade on a classic car or truck. Thanks for looking. Just email me with questions .
