Description of 1953 Studebaker Street Rod |
Before I begin, I would encourage all serious buyers to contact me directly at 1-517-990-2646 with any questions or concerns. This 1953 Studebaker Street Rod 1 of 1, a nice build, and is all steel, looks drives and sounds very cool, it has had a lot of mods and a lot of time to make this one of a kind very cool street rod. Everyone looks at the car and ask what is it, then start looking at the very thoughtful and cool things that was built and looks as if the car came from the factory with the added items such as the 1951 Cadillac rear fins, the 1946 ford rear roof line and rear window, to the 1956 Oldsmobile dash. Please take time to look at all the pictures. If you are not into getting a lot of attention and ask a ton of questions or ask to get pictures of the car this car is not for you! This ‘53 Studebaker Commander Starliner old school rod is an older build but is still nice inside, out, and underneath this rod was not done in a high end custom shop but a guy with a vision and a lot of talent. The paint is Bright red with Grey cloth interior, the color combo is nice. The car has a nice paint job on it, with very few nicks or chips and showing a little age and is straight down the sides, very nice and looks great and the stance is just plain cool. The drive train is a GM 350ci and was a professional built back when the car was done also, the trans is TH350 and a 10 bolt rear end with a GM bolt pattern. It has power front disc brakes, power steering, air cond . New 17” tires have been mounted on new American Racing black and polished aluminum wheels. The exhaust sounds great with a great purr. Like everything else, the interior is nice and still looks great. It has Grey bucket seat interior with console. The dash is from a 1956 Oldsmobile all the gauges seem to work great as does all the lights. It has a GM tilt steering column. The car has Air Conditioning and believe would blow cold with a re-charge, but not sure it all seems to work just not real cold. This car is nice everywhere you look, great for a old school rodder to enjoy today without spending a any of money, great old rod for a parade, local cruise-ins and a few local shows and should get a trophy or two, I would encourage anyone who wants to buy this street rod to come and inspect this car.
