Description of 1963 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk

This is as close to ORIGINAL as you will find !!!!
I am down sizing some of my collection.
Very straight body. There was 1 repaint. A descent job, but not show "quality". It was not a "strip down" to metal. The chrome and trim are original and in good condition.
The interior is in "outstanding" great condition. The seats are literally flawless ! The carpet,dash,gauges,..... all superb !
The trunk compartment,matting,.... all flawless !
The steering wheel is w/out flaws.
The headliner and chrome bows are in immaculate shape !
The undercarriage is straight and clean. Probably has 80% of the original under coating still in tact.
The wheel wells are very clean and dry.
The engine compartment is very clean !
Several months ago, a '63 in this color brought $58k at an auction, in condition #3.
My car is much nicer than the one mentioned @ $58k. The rating on my car would be a strong 2 +
Mechanically very sound. The engine runs strong and very quick ! Sounds great with the flowmasters !!
Suspension,brakes,..... all in great shape !!!
