PLEASE NOTE: The spoke wheels are NOT aluminum. They are chrome plated steel. I have had many inquiries as to the overall condition of the '53 Commander. IT IS A TURN KEY CAR. RUNS and DRIVES EXCELLENT. TIGHT and QUIET. THE ENGINE IS QUIET. NO ISSUES. NO OIL LEAKS. AT THIS TIME EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD. It is an older restoration with a few minor nicks and scratches in the paint. Some items have been re-plated within the past 7 years and still look very good. The bumpers and belt line pieces around and under the side windows were plated many years ago by a previous owner. They are quite presentable, but are NOT show quality. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO OBJECTION TO AN INSPECTION OF THE '53. IF YOU CAN NOT, I SUGGEST HIRING A STUDEBAKER EXPERT.
