1962 Studebaker Hawk. Perfect Floors! Nice Car!!!

Fun, cream-colored Beauty 1962 Hawk. Perfect Floors and Frame! Good sub-floor rocker boxes! Well maintained never-restored car that was never subjected to the rigors of northern winter roads, like so many were. Very nice driving car.

Not a dealer. It has been in our personal collection for years.

The body has no rot holes, has perfect floors, and perfect trunk. Original Studebaker factory floor is truly perfect: see photo. The sub-floor boxed in area to stiffen the body behind the rocker panels is good (most are long since rotted out). Paint on the body is a older repaint that has been touched up over the years. Engine compartment is still factory original paint. There are a couple minor small areas of bubbling in the fenders. See the photos.

Frame is in excellent shape. There is no rot anywhere. There is no rust swelling in the pinch welds.

Engine is the factory original 289 Studebaker V8 with automatic. It runs excellently with good hot idle oil pressure and no smoke. Radiator installed is a NOS HD 3-row, as used in R1/R2 cars. All the brakes have been completely redone in recent times. Tires are excellent. Drives nice.

All glass is good in the car, there are no chips or cracks. Door and quarter glass all roll up and down nicely. Upholstery is in good shape for being 55 years old. It does have a few cracks. Headliner and door panels are perfect. The trunk has its ORIGINAL sisal trunk mat and spare tire cover - not one of the incorrect reproductions.

Everything works on the car, all gauges, lights, wipers, heater, defroster, etc. The radio works but is a bit flaky.

Original Low Mileage: Odometer says 78, 000 miles and from condition and history, it's accurate. Comes with original owners manual.

Once payment has cleared to my satisfaction, car must be picked up within 30 days or storage charges will incur.
