Description of 1980 Studebaker Avanti

1980 AVANTI II

This is my personal 1980 Avanti II. Serial number RQ-B 3090. I bought this in 2012. It had been in storage for 12 years. I went through it and replaced anything that had dried out, put on new tires and a new catalytic converter. Since then I've been driving it in the summers. It's a fun car and gets a lot of attention.

NOTE: No, it's not a Studebaker... but the category listing wouldn't let me list it differently. I've had two original Studebaker Avantis, so I do know the difference.

Sold new at Penn Avanti Sales in McLean VA, then traded in several years later for a new Avanti II. A friend of mine bought it in 1998 and kept it till I bought it in 2012.
