Description of 1951 Studebaker Champion Restomod

Great patina on the outside, cool A/C in the custom interior, an upgraded performance suspension, and plenty of fuel-injected power under the hood. That's why this 1951 Studebaker Champion is the coolest machine we've seen in quite a while. And at this price, we know we don't get to admire it long.
Confidence is cool, and patina shows a self-assurance that's becoming red-hot right now. And this one is particularly striking in its patina, because this has been created to almost look like a two-tone bare metal and turquoise. And if that wasn't distinctive enough, you have this worn-in presentation on one of the most unique design of the '50s a bullet-nose Studebaker Champion. And with brightwork on the iconic grille, bumpers, windshield overhang, and much more, this one has a unique style. Plus, while it looks like this was just pulled from a barn, there is really less than 2,000 miles on the whole build. So the panels fit better than many cars half its age. In fact, those Weld Racing wheels clue you in on the high-performance package that lurks beneath the skin.
Open the door, and the moment you spot the two-tone seating, you realize the attitude of this full custom build changes to premium and fresh. The door panels, headliner, and carpeting coordinate nicely to create a fine place to spend some time. In fact, with great upgrades like an AM/FM/CD stereo, cup holders, and ice cold R134a air conditioning, there will be plenty of people who will happily come along for the ride. But the best treats are reserved just for you. Your right hand instantly gravitates to the B&M shifter. Your left one will love the woodgrain steering wheel, and beyond that, you get the cool blue glow of the Dakota Digital dash.
While this one is understated on the outside, you better grab your sunglasses before opening the hood. There was a serious investment in the V8, so we dare you to find another component that can be polished. And when you look beyond the flash, you'll see a performance-built 305 cubic-inch V8 that has all the right components, including an MSD ignition and serpentine belt system. This specialty-built fuel-injected motor makes a great rumble as the header-fed Magnaflow dual exhaust exits through the side pipes. The full package produces plenty of power, so you'll be glad to see the triangulated four-link rear end with adjustable coilovers. Plus, the fuel cell and battery box in the trunk help put more weight over this massive Mickey Thompson rear tires. Up front there's a Mustang II-style independent front suspension with tubular A-arms and adjustable coilvers. But more than just a great high performance package, there are also a ton of components that makes this a terrific anytime classic. For example, the transmission is a 700R4 four-speed automatic with highway-friendly overdrive. Plus, there's power steering and four-wheel disc brakes. You even have an aluminum radiator with electric fan to keep it all running cool even if you're in traffic with the A/C pumping.
This Studebaker has an amazing attitude that tells the world you have a different definition of cool. If you like workman preservation that hides plenty of V8 power and all the right creature comforts, then you know how rare this coupe is. Don't miss out, call today!
