Description of 1964 Studebaker 2R10 |
1964 Studebaker Daytona Wagonaire. Studebaker built this station wagon with a slider roof in the rear for large tall objects. It was to bridge that gap between a standard station wagon and a pickup. Somewhat rare and very collectible, this Studebaker is a great restorable car or it would also make an excellent parts car. It has a 259 V8 with a one barrel carb, yes, a one barrel carb! I last had it running about 4 or 5 years ago, and the automatic transmission seemed to work and shift fine. I drove it around the neighborhood. I had intentions of restoring this car someday, but I've come to the realization that in the 16 years that I've owned it, I'm not getting around to it, unfortunately. I have several other projects and this one needs to go to a new home, so here's your chance to get an old and very unique Studebaker station wagon. The car is pretty straight, although it does have the typical rust in the lower quarter panels as well as the lower center of the tailgate. I do believe that patch panels could easily be fabricated and the rusted areas can be repaired. The rest of the car is pretty solid and complete. The reserve is low as is the starting bid, so bid to win! I do have this car for sale locally, so I do reserve the right to end the auction early should it sell locally. I'm happy to answer questions and provide more photos as necessary, just ask! If you'd like to talk to me about the car in person, I can be reached at 775 772 7504. I can also assist withloading on a transport or I mightentertain transporting it within a 500 mile radius for actual costs. Thanks for looking, good luck and happy bidding! I pulled up what's left of the carpet and they look to be in good shape with only surface rust. |
