Here, directly from San Diego, CA is a 1962 Studebaker GT Hawk. You can call me to discuss this vehicle in detail at (217) 550-3428.This is a very original and unmolested example of the first year for the Gran Turismo Hawk. It features the original 289 V8 and automatic transmission. All of the gauges work, except the speedometer. The odometer also does not work. Speedometer cables are readily available, so if you wish, for a small charge, I can install a new speedometer cable. This California Hawk starts easily, idles smoothly and runs strong. The automatic transmission shifts sure and true with no slip. We do have the original owners manual in excellent condition. The car is a pleasure to drive and will be an instant hit at your local drive-in.The body is straight and very rust free. The undercarriage and frame are straight and rust free as webll. The floors are very nice and solid...trunk floor too. The chrome does have some pitting but looks pretty good. All the lights work as they should, as well as the wipers signals, heater and horn. The tires are recent and the hub-caps original. This GT Hawk has not been restored. The original color is white, however we think it looks great in this pale yellow. The interior looks original. The seats are in excellent condition, so they may have been reupholstered some time ago. The door panels are excellent and original, as is the headliner. Even the dome light works as it should. The front brake lines are recent and the brake master cylinder is new. The exhaust looks new as well. The glass is all good with no cracks or stars.Bid with confidence, as we have sold fine automobiles from coast to coast, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Central America, The UK and all over Europe.
