Description of 1952 Studebaker Champion Starlite |
Very clean. Rides and drives good. Like new tires. 3 speed manualtransmission with overdrive. All original. Paint in good condition. Body in good condition. Interior clean with normal ware. Have receipts on most all work done on car.The Starlight coupe was a unique 2-door body style offered by Studebaker Corporation of South Bend, IN. Critics of the radically styled models commented by asking the rhetorical question, "Which way is it going?"(Comedian Fred Allen) The viewer's astonishment was compounded by the great expanse of the wrap-around rear window. Wrap-around rear window Unlike other pillared two-door coupe that use two side windows separated from the rear window by roof supports. Roof rounded at the rear with a wraparound window system that provided a panoramic effect. The curved window was achieved with four fixed panels of glass. The car is sold as is where is.Pre-purchase inspections are encouraged and welcome.BILL OF SALE ONLY. AS IS - NO WARRANTY |
