Turbo Charged

1985 Avanti. 61000+ miles. Purchased from original owner who worked at Avanti in 80’s. Car was in storage for a number of years. Sales receipt and other papers. An aftermarket turbocharger was installed on the 305 Chevrolet motor by original owner. There is low compression in cylinders 1 & 3. Burns some oil. Nonetheless car runs good.The Avanti was repainted in early 90’s a dark emerald green. Paint has bubbled in several spots and there are several spots with crazing and lifted paint. Hog troughs have several rust holes. Transmission shifts properly. New front disc brake pads. Tires are in very good condition. Recaro seats.Interior has some surface wear on driver’s seat but otherwise in very good condition. Sunroof works properly and does not leak. Power windows all work.All gauges work. New radio was installed with input for iPhone. Power side mirrors do not work. Air conditioner was upgraded to new R134 but may have slow leak. Exhaust system is excellent.The Avanti is in good overall condition. Health issues force sale.
