1950 Studebaker Champion . Condition is Used. 1950 STUDEBAKER champion BULLET NOSE 2 dr coupe. This is a very rare and sexy find from the dry climate of Southwest Colorado. She is rust free for all practical purposes. With that said the floors and body will be the best you will come across for an unrestored car. It does have a few small spots that are just starting to bubble with rust (see pics). The car does run and idle, but the carburetor accelerator pump is out, so it will not drive or accelerate. Brakes work, clutch works, tires are so freaking old and dry rotted, but they do hold air. She has great driver quality, paint that shines brilliantly, does have chip touch ups. A carburetor rebuild, full tune up, belt, hoses and fluid changes are in order. I have started it let sit and idle for awhile and was able to lot drive it by feathering the gas, but it does need a carb rebuild. This would be such a fun car to put back on the road as is with just a little time, money and TLC, or do a hot rod-rat rod, or a total restore. Please look at photos( and ZOOM in) as it is the best description, but feel free to call and ask any questions or if you want a text picture of something in particular. Again this beauty is almost rust free-cancer free.Calls are always best 405-612-5666, email is snail mail and slow to answer. Please, you must have a 5 positive feedback or call me before bidding. I may end auction at anytime since I have pulled her out of my shop and parked her out front and she's already drawing interest. The CPI collectible vehicle book list champion studie's as either coupe or seda, sedans being 4 d, coupes as 2 dr's ?? Call this what ever you want it is a 2 door.!!! some say its a 5 windo, some say a 2 dr post. The CPI book does not start talking about TRUE hardtops until the model year 1953 and u, so again label it how ever you like it's a 2 door car!!!!!
