1960 Studebaker Lark Station Wagon. Condition is Used. This is a low mileage 4-door Wagon in very good condition. Has 22,503 documented original miles, the second owner bought it in 1992 with 20,000 miles, see for sale ad in photos. Oil change sticker from 1971 showed 15,166 miles at that time. I am the third owner of the car. It has the 170 cubic inch flathead six cylinder engine with three speed manual transmission on the column, it does not have overdrive. The car runs well and has a new rebuilt carburetor and recent tune up with new points, plugs, condenser, rotor and distributor cap. Has new front brake cylinders, muffler and tailpipe. It was recently painted in it's original light blue, and at that time all the rubber door, tailgate and hood weather strip was replaced. It has electric wipers and the heater works, all the stainless trim is in excellent shape and was removed for painting. The bumpers are in good shape but not show quality. The interior has been spruced up with new vinyl on the seat inserts, the rear seat was in excellent shape and is preserved under the new cover, the front seat had splits in the vinyl inserts. The carpet is new and the headliner is in perfect condition. The car rides like a 20,000 mile car, very solid and rattle free, and steers easily with no steering play. All glass is good and windows all work fine. The second owner repaired some rust in the tailgate and rear lower quarter panels with welded steel and lead, the floor pans are in excellent condition as shown in the photo prior to carpet installation. Comes with a unique set of original Studebaker-Packard Accessories, inflatable mattresses to make a comfortable bed when you fold down the rear seat. They were stored in their original cardboard tubes which double as a air pump, the vinyl is as soft as new and they still have that new vinyl smell.
