My mistake, The truck has been mechanically keep up over the years but never completely restored.Over the years the engine has been gone trough, it has had brakes rebuilt, resprayed, bearings and u-joints replaced etc.. but never restored

I've been talking to a guy about the front-end diff and he states that it supposed to be a drop out and that this truck doesn't have that. I'm no expert but I have talked to Studebaker and they assured me with DOCUMENTED PAPERWORK that it is one of the 9, 1/2 ton short wheelbase trucks and only one of those was painted in "Tahiti Coral"! The Truck Vin Numbers match the engine and body numbers and Studebaker has it listed as a NAPCO. We are assuming possibly the front end could have been swapped out in some time in it's life because it was always kept running to be used on the Ranch. But I have also been told that it is the right front end. I just wanted to be up front with everyone.
