You are bidding on a 1960 Studebaker Lark Convertible. It is being offered with NO RESERVE. This vehicle was an estate gift to the Studebaker National Museum and donor-designated for resale. All proceeds from sale benefit the Museum.The Lark is equipped with a 259 V8 engine, automatic transmission and power steering. Aftermarket disc brakes have been fitted along with a dual chamber master cylinder. It is also equipped with Delco alternator and MSD ignition system. The Lark currently runs, drives, stops, but mechanical status should be verified by the purchaser prior to operation. Mileage shows 12,328, but is not believed to be accurate. Parts, Service and Owner's manuals pictured are included in sale.Exterior: The Lark's paint and brightwork is in very good condition but does have some blemishes and chips (see photos). The convertible top appears newer but has stains consistent with being parked under a tree. Corrosion is poking through the lower edge of the front fenders and rust repair/filler is visible in the fenders and rocker panels (see photos). Doors have some sag and misalignment.Interior: The interior has been replaced in non-authentic materials and is in excellent condition. Some loose trim is noted on the driver's side door panel. Car is fitted with seat belts front and rear.Mechanical: Car runs, drives and stops. Aftermarket alternator was fitted with homemade bracket. One mounting stud has failed, leaving alternator not firmly mounted and misaligned. Transmission operates in all ranges. As noted previously, car is fitted with MSD ignition module, aftermarket front disc brakes and a dual-chamber master cylinder. Brakes are a bit spongy but stop the car. Exhaust system appears newer. Hydraulic top works. Passenger front tire shows sidewall bulge.Structural:Frame, sill channels, and trunk corners appear solid.
