Picked up this (potentially 40mpg) Justy just over a year ago from a local seller here in Washington. The car made a great commuter for about 6 months until the head-gasket blew. This Justy needs at least a new head-gasket and at worst a new head/rebuild. Fortunately these engines are a manageable size with good access for those inclined to rebuild it. There are some really good online resources for Justy repairs and parts. Additionally there's a great local source (has around 20 Justy's) for parts available within Washington state.== The Good ==Body and paint are in nice shape for its age - No obvious signs of rust or prior accidents. All fluids, ipers and both front CV shafts were replaced shortly after purchaseTires and brakes seem to be a decent shapeFuel Injected engine - Earlier versions were carburetedManual transmission - Clutch engaged somewhat abruptly, ut never slipped and felt solidClear title in hand== The Bad ==Engine issue - Appears to have a blown a head-gasket, r worst case scenario may have a cracked head. Gaskets available online and I've located a local source for replacement heads; quoted me around $400 should it need replacing.== The Ugly ==Leading edge of hood is a slightly bent in a few placesCrack in windshield - Single, artial crack which hasn't moved since I've owned it, oesn't obstruct vision.Thigh-sized dent in front-passenger quarter panelInterior - Some fabric seams are coming apart, orn out foam padding in places. One headrest is floppy.Partially gnarled drivers door cardMissing front Subaru badge - Possible deal-breaker for someCar is being sold AS-IS/WHERE-IS with No Reserve. Located in Seattle, A.
