1988 Subaru XT XT6 Coupe 2-Door 2.7L---RUST FREE NEVADA CAR-RARE 68k

I bought this car back in April with the intent of restoring it. My work schedule has changed however and I will not have the time to work on it before winter.

It would be a shame to let this RUST FREE example of a RARE CAR sit out in a Connecticut winter so I am reluctantly listing it for sale. I have hunted and gathered 98% of the parts you will need to restore the car cosmetically as well as NEW SUSPENSION PARTS for a SWAP from the AIR SUSPENSION to STRUT/SHOCK.

This includes EXTERNAL decals (ones currently available), a missing rear windflap. I replaced the passenger side windowregulator and motor and it works perfectly as do ALL the other electrical features. The radio and power antenna work.

Currently the AIR SUSPENSION is working. The AIR SUSPENSION light is OFF and the compressor does run.

GREAT INTERIOR, INCLUDING ORIGINAL XT6 Floor Matts. ONE DENT SMALL HOOD DENT.

Cold A/C.

The following services were done:

a) NEW PLUGS, IRES, ISTRIBUTOR CAP and ROTOR

b) NEW FUEL PUMP and FUEL RAIL PRESSURE REGULATOR

c) OIL CHANGE and COOLANT FLUSH

d) WHEELS REFINISHED and I DO HAVE THE CENTERCAPS which are NOT PRESENTLY installed.

e) NEW BRAKES ALL AROUND

f) NEW MASS AIR SENSOR

g) NEW COOLANT SENSOR

The car runs and drives well, hifts through the gears fine.The CYBRID Power Steering functions as it should.

The tires are DRY rotted from the Nevada heat and the car should not be driven any length without being changed.

MANY questions asked so I'll answer the most common:

a) this car has never seen snow, t was brought to Connecticut in April.

b) the RESERVE PRICE: I have set the reserve to reflect the rarity of the car, he condition of the car AND the work put into the car including the gathering of parts and the expense paidto get themto complete the restoration.The reserve is LESS than $3000.

c) mechanically the car is sound,although the exhaust may need to be changed due to age and the TPS MAY need resetting or replacement as the car runs better without it connected then with it connected.

d) this auction can be cancelled at any time as the car is for sale locally also.
