This is a project that I have also been driving daily so it is fully operational. I have had it since 2/2012 and have driven it since plated later that year. I have logged 14,000 miles on it while in the process of trying to get it into the desired state I wanted. Still do not have it done and now due to some unforseen bills and a couple of medical issues I now am selling it much to my dislike. I have listed some things that I have done, even though some may seem trivel I listed them to show what I have been trying to do in my attempt to get it to where I wanted it and the cost in attempting to do so. INTERIOR:(new parts) package tray & brake & clutch pedels-$31.34, window cranks-$9.99, door opening straps-$20.00, carpet kit-$149.00, steering column control (Headlights/wipers/signals/etc)-219.00, (used parts) ABS tailgate cover-15.00, side covers-15.00. EXTERIOR:(new parts) mesh aluminum sheet for grill backing-13.99, ventshades-38.49, yellow bulbs for fog lights-20.94, diamond plate rocker panels covers-105.16, nerf bars/side steps-159.00, fairlead roller for winch-47.00, windshield wiper braces-29.00, used older style grill-65.00. SUSPENSION/DRIVE TRAIN: (new parts) front shock mounts & extended stainless steel coated brakelines-115.66, clutch kit-74.96, front knuckle rebuild kit-115.00, third member gearing for both rearends (4.30 gears)-450.00, 3" lift trail gear front springs-197.35, 3" lift trail gear rear springs-197.35, 3" lift low range off road shackles (4)-98.00, energy suspension bushing kit for springs-28.50, Doestch front & rear shocks-96.29, 1 pair shock boots-9.99, trail gear high steer kit-329.65, ole man emu steering stabilizer-82.77, u-joints (6)-43.81,(used parts) front spring plates w/u-bolts-45.00, rear spring plates w/u-bolts-45.00. OTHER: the black parts, fenders, hood, tailgate I took off another 92 sami I had with a blown engine because they were in better shape. 2 of the white fender flares had dents, the hood had scratches all over it, and the tail gate was dented also. I did also have to replace the transmission with a used one from samurai salvage in Iowa (499.00) because one u-joint let go and one of the shafts knocked a hole in it. The hood does have hail dings in it. The rag top is shot, it has just worn out and needs replaced, I did purchase a ralley 2 piece top for it but never installed it (listed separately in a accessories auction). When i originally purchased vehicle for $4000.00 it had a homemade SPOA, but i did not trust the welding or parts so i returned it to SPUA and added the lift springs and shackles. The tires on it are 30" and the spare came off the other sami also but is of simular size. Before installing the carpet kit I completely coated the floorboards and sealed them. This sami came from the factory with only 2 seats, it does not have holes for a rear seat. I was not able to list this without putting a number in the mileage box so I just put 50000, when I begin driving it I believe it was all straight 3's. It is an EFI and is all there as far as I know, there are nothing missing or bypassed just to make it run, it is as from the factory and just as peppy. One of the things that I have not gotten around to is the common oil leak that is from the seal for the distributor where it installs into the back of the cylinder head, that was the next thing on my list, but had not gotten to it yet. I did however keep the oil changed at 3000 mile intervals. I am sure I probably missed something but I cannot really think of much else to include, I will add it later on if I do think of something though. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me and I will answer them to the best of my ability. THIS SAMURAI IS FOR SALE LOCALLY ALSO AND LISTING MAY BE TERMINATED SHOULD IT SEEM THAT NOONE IS INTERESTED OR BIDDING AND LOCAL PRICE MEETS REQUIREMENTS.
