1987 Suzuki Samurai that is original except for the fact that someone has replaced all four leaf springs and it now sits higher than original. This has the tin top with top rack and lights that are wired but has no power switch. One light is broken. I have replaced the windshield, muffler, starter, alternator, battery, air cleaner filter, throttle cable and replaced the original carburetor choke with a manual cable control. Also added an amps gauge. Oil has been changed in the engine, transmission, transfer case and both front and rear differentials. Transmission, transfer and differentials are real good condition but fifth gear is noisy. Has lockout hubs. Motor always starts and runs good. No oil leaks that I can see. All lights work and signals too. There is body damage to the left door, left front fender and tail gate. Rear bumper is bent down and front is well mounted. Very little rust and most is surface rust. The headliner need to be glued in place. The tires are BF Goodrich with about 3000 miles on them and they work real well in the snow. There are speakers in the rear but no radio. I live in a area where travel is sometimes around 8 to 9 thousand ft. in elevation and this little car just doesn't have enough power at that altitude. Only has 40 hp. I bought it thinking I would put a V6 in it but see now that I just don't have the time. Drive it the way it is or make it into what ever you want. Buyer will have to arrange for shipping. 500.00 at end of auction and the balance by Postal Money Order or Cash. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS before bidding.
