Description of 1991 Suzuki Samurai 2 door soft top |
This is a 1991 Suzuki Samurai with the stock fuel injected motor that has been rebuilt (new pistons, bearing, head gasket, valve stem seals, water pump motor mount…ext.) and a stage two dual surface clutch all within the last 7,500 miles. It has a spring over lift kit with hi steer crossover all from low range off road, exhaust headers from low range off road and custom exhaust from complete auto and custom exhaust, Kenwood speakers and a Pioneer head unit, wheel spacers, rear sumo drive shaft that is custom made to length for the lift kit, U joints replaced on the front and intermittent drive shafts about 15k miles ago along with all shocks, leaf springs and added a ranchero steering stabilizer. This samurai has a geo power steering pump that works but needs a new belt, without the belt it steers likea normal samurai. The soft top is a2 piece so you can keep the front seats covered and take the back off or take off just over the front seats. Either combination can be done with the warrior products safari rack still attached. The rear bumper on it has some rust and a slight bend, I have a spare bumper that goes with this sale along with the original intake, exhaust manifold, extra radiator cap, thermostat and gasket and any other parts for it I find around the garage. This is an older vehicle, there is some blemishes and wear. One bad rust spot that you will see in the photos, the floor boards are solid and do not show any rust from the bottom, interior has black carpet. This has been a fun around town vehicle, however like most samurai’s it does not do overly well on higher speed highways. I drove it 60-65 and it does decent with that. When it comes to getting off the pavement is where these get to be fun and get through some tight spots and goes through areas where other rigs get stuck. The tires on it are not too aggressive since most of my driving was paved and only some basic trails but the tires have most of the tread still on the tires. I purchased this vehicle used In Colorado a few years ago and put around 20k miles on it. Vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty. I have enjoyed having it as a second samurai but have not done any trails since I got married andso selling one of my 2 sami's to help with finances. If you have any questions please ask.
