Starting at $1,500. Rear Axle: 4.56 Richmond Gears and LA/Lock Rite locker, 33 Super Swampers - $200. Front Axle: 4.56/ LA/Lock Rite Locker, Birfield rings installed - $250. Double-low (6.5:1) transfer case (makes a racket over about 15mph) - $250. Rebuilt engine/transmission with high compression pistons, high-lift cam and CenterForce Clutch - $400. Dual Dell'Orto side draft carbs and intake manifold - $300. Front/Rear mount Ramsey REP9000 winch (never overheated, clutch is stuck) - $100. Headers are rotted out at the collector. Rough Country lift kit - front axle is spring-over and shackle swap. No windshield or doors. Plastic racing seats with rotted-out wood bases. Dead Optima battery (really dead - jump start only). This is a very willing engine - compression, cam, dual carbs and headers. Fires right up (cold-blooded Italian carbs, though). If you want to build a mud truck or crawler, this Samurai has all the goodies already installed. Note that this is a dedicated mud truck, hill climber or rock crawler. This is a true, locked-up (front and rear lockers, locked transfer case) truck for maximum off road performance. Has winched dozens of trucks up hills (and a Suzuki RM-250 to boot). Suggest extensive maintenance. Has not been maintained or registered in 20 years.
