Description of 1987 Suzuki Samurai Deluxe |
1987 Suzuki Samurai, Deluxe Model, LOW mileage This is a 1987 Suzuki Samurai, Deluxe Model. It is completely stock with no enginemodifications whatsoever. It has less than 37,000 original miles and has been garaged its entire life. It still has its original factory paint job (which hasits share of small scratches and dings) and is what you would consider a truesurvivor. I purchased it from the original owner who purchased the vehicle new, in 1987. They used this truck on weekends at their summer vacation home, where this truck has always been stored. This truck wasn't used very much for the last twenty years because of the owner's advancing age. When I bought this vehicle I spared no expense in preparing it for my personal use but then a nice 1972 FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser became available, so this beautiful Samurai is now being offered here on eBay. The truck is appraised at $15,000, I have over 14K into it but I'm somewhat flexible and willing to negotiate. Here is a list of some of the itemsthat were recently renewed: New Premium Goodyear All-Terrain Tires New KYB Gas-A-Just Shock Absorbers (Front and Rear) New Monroe Steering Stabilizer New Stage One Clutch / Throw-Out Bearing New OEM Factory Seats New OEM Factory Bestop Convertible Top New Exterior Mirrors New Diamond Plate Rear Panels New Interior Panels New Premium Carpeting New Timing Belt New Timing Belt Guard Cover and Gasket New Fan Belt New Water Pump New Fuel Pump New Fuel Filter New Spark Plugs New Ignition Cap New Rotor New Ignition Wires New Full Exhaust System, including Catalytic Converter New Brake Lines New Brake Drums New Wheel Cylinders New Brake Rotors New Brake Calipers New Bumpers (Front and Rear) New Rubber Bumper Ends (Front and Rear) New OEM Marker Lights New Window Seals Upgraded Alpine CD/MP3/WMA/AAC/iPod-ready AM/FM Receiver Valves were professionally adjusted. All fluids were drained and changed using only premium products; including: engine oil, front/rear differentials, transmission, transfer case, and brake fluid. The cooling system was also flushed-out and filled with a premium antifreeze. All minor rust issues were dealt with professionally. Most of the items on the above list didn't need to be done but I'm very particular about my vehicles and went all-out to make this a nice and reliable ride. The enginesounds great, the truck rides smooth and the transmission/four wheel drive system, operates as it should. By the way, this vehicle is eligible for Classic Car Insurance which would save you hundreds of dollars in insurance premiums plus you gain the benefit of an agreed-value policy. I was quoted 196-dollars with an agreed value of $15,000.00. That quote was for a full YEAR of coverage. 1.3- Liter 4-Cylinder Engine 5-Speed Manual Transmission 2-Speed Transfer Case Manual Hubs Standard equipment includes trip meter, cigarette lighter, intermittent wipers, front carpet, vinyl seats, dual exterior mirrors and lockable fuel tank cap. This is the Deluxe model which adds tachometer, digital clock, day/night mirror, passenger-side vanity mirror, front and rear carpeting and AM/FM stereo with cassette. The rear door holds the spare tire and swings out for entry in back. This is a simple machine with LOW maintenance costs. It is practical transportation which gets on average, thirty two miles per gallon; this is pretty good MPG for a very capable 4-Wheel Drive Vehicle....THANKS FOR CHECKING IT OUT!!!! |
