Very stock and original 1988 Suzuki Samurai JA. Don't know history on this vehicle. Bought it in Tucson AZ and drove it home to LA. I've owned for almost 2 years and put a couple thousand miles on it commuting across LA. Was my daily driver, now is my weekend around town car. Moving, need to get rid of the extra car. Good: Body straight No critical rust Miata seats - no tears Rear seat present Soft top great condition - no tears Bikini top included - no tears Good tread remaining on tires Always starts Good carpet kit Speakers work No oil leaks West coast vehicle (AZ & CA) New catalytic converter & O2 sensor (2017) 4wd works Paint good (clear coat worn and oxidization on drivers side but decent) Bad: Probably won't smog in CA without carb/engine tune Old tires (5 yr) Radio doesn't work Heater disconnected Coolant leak Small hole in muffler Normal wear and tear (remember, 30 yr old mostly stock vehicle) This sale is "as-is" for a 30 yr old vehicle. Buyer understands that engine/carb may need attention to pass smog if your state requires that. Hole in muffler is small, will be easy and cheap to replace. I just discovered the coolant leak the other day when I added fluid so I haven't looked into that yet. It is likely just a water pump replacement. I am not sure how long it has had a leak but car has never overheated. I am not a mechanic and don't have full history but will answer questions the best I can. $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit required 24 hrs after auction end because I don't have time for non-serious buyers. Need it gone. Buyer responsible to pay the rest in-cash upon pickup. Will add sellers fee (3%) to purchase price if buyer is non-local and needs to do PayPal. Buyer responsible for paying and arranging shipping but I will help to facilitate that as best as I can. Sammy needs to be out of my garage by June 3 so keep that in mind when planning pickup/delivery. |
