Description of 1988 Suzuki Samurai

This is an excellent example of a unabused, not modified to much samurai. When I was looking to buy most of these have been beat up or still completely stock. I liked this one because it has some nice options, but not over the top. I really don't think this has been off-road to much based on the condition, but of course I have no way to prove this. I did take it on some trails in Colorado and Arizona when I purchased it, but nothing to crazy!
No Major rust if any at all, very clean!
It has a winch on the nice aftermarket front bumper. The winch is a small 2500lb winch I have never used, but is remote control and does go in and out. The spare tire can swing out so the back door can still open. It also has the side guards along the body as seen in the photos.
Someone also changed the front seats to something much more comfortable than factory Suzuki seats. They still adjust front to back and tilt forward to get into the backseat. Their is also a locking center storage console between the front seats. Their is also a cb radio and the alpine stereo is a nice upgrade.
It also has a towbar that comes with it. This gives you the ability to flat tow it behind an RV or a truck to to the trails if you don't want to drive it. I flat towed it behind my RV back from Colorado, and you can hardly tell it is back there it is so light!
This samurai was originally white and was painted dark blue at some point. The paint looks great, but a few places upon close inspection you can tell it was white at one point. I would say the paint is at least an 8 out of 10 currently. The dash has a cover on it, but I do not believe there is any cracks.

I have a couple buckets of extra parts that were given to me when I purchased Dec 26th of 2017 I do not know exactly what I have but will go thru it and add pictures and descriptions this weekend.
I have an extra convertible top. It is a Bimini top with the 2 pieces to cover the back if the seat is folded flat.
I also have the factory white spoke wheels.
I have extra door handles, some type of suspension bushings.
I have the factory carburetor and air box cleaner. It currently has a Weber carb and K&N air filter.
Their is an extra differential, I am not sure, but was told it has a locker in it.
I have more pictures I can send, but ebay will only let me put up what I have.
I have 10+ pics of undercarriage if you would like them sent so you can see the condition under the vehicle as well.
When I purchased the vehicle it had approximately 27,200 miles showing on the odometer, I have no idea if this is actual, or if it has rolled over, I purchases as in excess of mechanical limits.
At some point someone has replaced the bushings in the springs, the vehicle drives very good but is a samurai so is not great on the highway for a long trip. It will run 60 no problem sometimes 65, but really is more suited for driving around town and of course off-road.
I also have a receipt from the previous owner for new clutch, flywheel, pilot bushing in the rear of crankshaft, throw-out bearing, and rear main seal in the engine. All of this was done with 26,583 miles on the odometer at a cost of over $1200. The oil was also changed around this same time. There is no oil leaks at all underneath the vehicle. It is stored on concrete inside and sat in the same spot all winter and left no marks on the concrete.
I also had the front axles seals and all the universal joints replaced a few months after I purchased it.

I am selling because I have way to many vehicles and I never have a chance to really use it.
I can take pictures of anything you want, Please ask any questions you have prior to bidding. I am available to show it before the auction ends if you want to come take a look at, or test drive it. I do not think anyone would be disappointed with appearance or mechanical condition especially considering its age!
Vehicle still has a Colorado title just so you are aware when you go to register it. Vehicle is located currently on the north side of Indianapolis, IN
I would like a paypal deposit of $250.00 within 48 hrs of auction close. I would really like cash for the balance, but may take a bank check if I can verify it with a local bank and it is drawn on a major bank.
I can store the vehicle inside for up to 30 days once I have been paid in full if you are waiting to have it shipped.
If you want vehicle shipped that is fine, but must be paid for in full before leaving my possession.
