Description of 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser |
For sale I have my 1983 Toyota Landcruiser FJ60. Runs great- drove it home for almost 200 Miles at 65 mph with no issues. Drives In a straight line and suspension is solid. No issues there. Recently rebuilt top end (less than 1200 miles) original 2F engine, ew OEM clutch kit, ew weber 32/36 carb, ew gaskets all around, ngine completely torn down and inspected for tolerances prior to rebuild, ngine prepped and properly painted with POR15, think it has the original York A/C compressor- great for onboard air compressor conversion, o weird clunks or noises I have noted. Very impressed with the truck mechanically- would not hesitate to hop in and drive to the mountains tomorrow. Beat up but functional ARB bullbar and front bumper. Lift kit-3.5 inches I would guess and looks like Old Man Emu. Nice DC player Headunit with Remote. Recent safety inspection. Dick Cepek 33x12.5 tires- 85% tread Aisin Hubs. Runs good, hifts smooth. The bad- Rust: body rust, ome rot in typical fj60 spots like rear fenders, ailgate hatch, ockers. My intention was to use the truck for the intended purpose of being off-road and this didn't bother me too much. Thought about hacking it out and building some sliders to replace rockers, aybe leveling the fenders. Frame is rusted, ot rotted- would wire wheel and hit with rust bullet or whatnot: similar condition to my fj40 frame and I saved that with this method- looks actually good. Interior is in good condition forAge. Overall I would love to keep but have too many projects. Roof Rack not Included in Sale: Got home and someone had removed from Truck- If you have a Thule style roof rack please buy locks. If anyone has any questions or wants particular information please feel free to let me know. Included are receiptsdocumentingsome of the work that has been completed on truck over it's lifetime by previous owner. Nice to have as a reference. Thanks. |
