Description of 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser LX |
**EBay does not recognize the European V.I.N.JT1V0LJ7009042866. Listing was removed because I forgot to include a photo of the VIN plate. So the VIN plate photo is included now. I bought this truck for my family and our adventures but it turns out it's a bit small for two adults, wo children, wo dogs, nd our gear. I had hoped for a 4Runner Diesel, ut they're too hard to find in nice condition. This truck is an absolutely beautiful 1990 or 1989 (still trying to figure that out for sure) model year European market Toyota LJ70 Diesel Land Cruiser from Belgium. It has extremely low miles of only 93,600 and the paint and interior are stunning and in like-new condition. It has a clear title and isregistrable anywhere in the U.S. This truck needs nothing to be a terrific and fuel efficient daily driver. And unlike most vehicles for sale today it will appreciate in value as time goes by. I only buy and sell cars and trucks I love and drive and this one is special to me. It is absolutely a pleasure to drive on road and off road. Its off road capabilities and durability are legendary. It is so solid on the road it feels like it is forged in one solid piece of metal. There are no shakes, attles, r strange noises. There are no fluid leaks. The brakes are amazingly strong and will lock up all 4 wheels if gotten on. It handles around corners amazingly well for such a tall truck with so much ground clearance. And the 4 wheel drive system is amazingly competent. I have been driving on a few road trips through Northern New Mexico and it returns 23 to 26 mpg. Now that Diesel is less expensive than gasoline here it is amazingly economical to drive and gets between 500 to 600 miles per tank depending on how long you feel like waiting to refill it and how heavily you use your foot. The paint and interior are nearly flawless. There is absolutely no rust at all on the frame and underneath. There are no oil leaks either. The tires are brand new. I just installed a set of Dick Cepek Mud Country 31X1050 R15 tires and will also include the former Bridgestone Dueler tires on a second set of white painted Toyota Landcruiser rims. I drive this truck on a daily basis, o the miles willchange. The oil and filter, ir filter, nd fuel filter have just been changed, nd I recently received new sun visors and a Toyota OEM one-piece front rubber floor mat to keep the front carpeting looking like brand new. |
