HISTORY:

This Celica was sold brand new from Nashville Toyota on July 10, 972. (Copy of original purchase order comes with car). The car came equipped with Air Conditioning, inyl Roof and AM Radio. This car stayed in the same family until I purchased it earlier this year. The previous owner hadstarted on refurbishing the car. See theCondition section for details. I purchased the car withplans to complete a full restoration. Unfortunately, ircumstances have changed and I won'tbe in a position to complete this effort. This car is too nice to just let it sit, o it needs to find a good home withsomeone whois ready to take this car to the next level.

CONDITION: (I tend to be very picky about my cars, o what I may see as an imperfection may not be a big deal to others - so please ask any questions and Ill do my best to give you details).

Exterior -

• New Paint about 3-4 years ago.It looks like the prep on the car could have been better, ssome spots are starting to show and the paint has 1 crack showing (not very noticeable - but I believe in full disclosure). The car looks incredible from 10 feet away and gets tons of compliments. The front fenders could use to be re-aligned, ut look good as they are.Emblems and Decalshave been replaced and look very good.
• Pass. Front Fender - It has a small dimple and some waves in the top...but still looks okay.
• New Vinyl roof was done when the car was repainted. It was done very well and looks good.
• Trim - It looks like the chrome trim around thewindows was tapped back in with a small hammer, s the trim has small dings. Good news - its all there! See the pics.
• Sails - The two sails rightbehind therear windows on the side have been painted a silver color.Good condition, ut I would replace with original Chrome and Black.
• Bumpers - Very rare early first gen bumpers without the holes for bumper guards. The bumpers have some small dings and dimples and could use a re-chrome - but are very presentable as is.
• Glass - Glass is good with no cracks, cratches or bad pitting. The rear defrost is there, ut line to it is not hooked up.
• Headlights (regular and brights), aillights, azards, orn (can be temperamental), urn Signals, indshield Wipers - All Work!!!
• Original 13" Wheels with almost new tires.

Interior -

• Previous owner did ALOT of work on the interior and it looks great!
• Seats - All have been recovered in the Black vinyl with yellow stitching. Seat belts are there and okay (Lap belts only - that's all it came with new).
• Headliner - Also redone in black and looks great.
• Dash - Front -Original Dash had a crack in it, o previous owner had a custom fit dash cover installed and it looks amazing.You have to really look to even notice its acover.
• Dash - Rear (package tray) - Completely redone and looks great. Has two 6" round speakers installed and it looks as though the car came that way. Very nice.
• Gauges - All gauges work except the clock in the console. It is also temperamental. The speedometer bounces from 0-20 until you get to about 10 mph. then it settles in just fine.
• AC and Vents - The sliders move but are very hard to move. The blower motor works fine. Pull out on the lever and you get all 3 speeds. A/C needs to be recharged.
• AM Stereo - It is still there, ut it is not working.
• CD Player - Previousowner installed a nice CD head unit under the left side of the driver side dash - looks very nice and did not cut up the dash. It works great!!!
• Dash Lights - Do not work ! - not sure why. Could be a resistor, ould be a fuse, ust not sure.
• Dome and Door Lights - They work.
• Windows - All regulators replaced. All window felts replaced. Windows roll up and down as they should.

Engine -

• Engine is the 18 R-C, nline 4-cyl. - all original.
• Engine runs well, o overheating, o smoking or knocking, o rough idle. I have driven the car at 60 and 70 mph down highway with no issues.
• Air Conditioning - It is original and there. It needs to be recharged.
• Rear Seal - Leaks a small amount of oil - about the size of a dime over a week.
• Carb - Has been rebuilt and runs fine.
• Brakes - Seem to be just fine. Disc Brakes on Front and Drums on the rear. Hit the brakes and there is no pulling either way. New Brake proportioning valve.
• Steering - No power steering. Steering box is original. I just replaced the steering coupler (rag joint) and steering is nice and tight. No pulls left or right.
• Engine Bay - Its dirty. It was not part of the refurbish, o it needs attention from a cosmetic standpoint. But the engine seems to be very solid.

Transmission -

• W-40 - 4 speed manual transmission.
• Clutch is nice and strong - no slipping
• Synchronizers seem to be very good. No kicking out of gear and no whining.

Rear End -

• No known problems.

SUMMARY:

Most of the hard work has been done on this car and it is fun to drive and very presentable. It is refurbished, ot restored, o don't expect it to be perfect. If someone has the time and passion, his car could be incredible. It is a car you could drive while working on it. I have done my best to describe the car as I know it. Please ask any questions before bidding!!!!

• Remaining funds are to be paid by Cash or Cashiers Check only.
• Car will not be released until all funds have cleared.
• Car does have a clear Texas Title in my name.

Delivery and Shipping:

• I would NOT recommend driving this car long distances - as it runs about 3500rpm at 65 mph. It was really meant for city use and not for long term road trips.
• I would recommend that this car is shippedif buyer lives outside Houston.
• Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. I will take the car to the nearest large store/parking lot - to meet your shipper.
